ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU

On 20 April 2016, the ATEX Directive 2014/34 / EU (ATEX – ATmosphères EXplosives) came into force, which applies to appliances and systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.

The directive concerns not only electrical appliances, but also mechanical devices which, due to their potential ignition sources, risk causing an explosion.

Environments where power transmission equipment is typically installed (petrochemical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, paint manufacturing, fabric dyeing, paper production, wood processing, etc.) are affected by the ATEX Directive in conforming to both the normal and motorized gearboxes.

The STM / GSM – ATEX reducers comply with the design requirements extracted from Group II, Category 2 for operation in areas with danger of explosion in the presence of “G” gas and combustible dust “D”.

Obtaining the GOST certification (Gosudarstvennyj Standart) R guarantees adherence to the strict safety and quality regulations imposed by the Russian Federation and confers the suitability to export our products in an extremely demanding international market.

CCC Certification

CCC (China Compulsory Certification) Certification is valid for the Chinese market.

EAC EX Certificate is the result of the compliance with TR-CU 012/2011 regulations and it is comparable to ATEX Certification.
